3. Open Keychain Access. You can also access the spotlight search at the top-right menu bar, and in the search bar, type Keychain Access. (Command + Space is the shortcut key).

4. Choose Passwords, which you can find in the bottom-left corner of the Window under Category.

5. Type the application or the website name that you want to check your credentials. (If you have changed your passwords, you would see more than one result.)

6. When you find the desired entry, double-click it.

7. Click on the Show Password box. It will then prompt you to input your system password.

8. You need to enter the credentials that you use when logging in to your Mac.

How To Find Stored WiFi Passwords On Mac?

You forgot your WiFi password, and you can not remember it. Here’s how you can use Keychain Access to find your WiFi password on a Mac.

1. By going to Applications > Utilities, you can find the Keychain Access App.

2. You can type in your WiFi name in the search bar.

3. Double-clicking on the name of your WiFi Network will open up the fields.

4. Select the box next to Show Password.

5. Enter the username and password you use to log in to your computer. 

6. You can see the password in the field next to Show Password.

How To View Saved WiFi Passwords Via Network And Sharing Network On Microsoft Windows?

To view WiFi passwords on Windows, you need to ensure that you have connected to the WiFi Network Previously. If Yes, then go ahead and right-click on the WiFi icon in the system tray and choose Open Network And Sharing Center.

Now, click on Manage Wireless Settings.

On the new page, select the WiFi Name, which you need to check the password for.

Double click the WiFi name entry. And click on Show Password. 

How To View Saved wifi Password Via Command Prompt?

In Windows 7, 8, and 10, you have to open a command prompt by starting and typing in CMD. Now, right-click on CMD to run it as an administrator.

Once CMD is open, type the following command:

Netsh wlan show profiles

You will find all the wireless profiles listed under User Profiles. The WiFi network names are on the right. To see the password for a profile, enter the following command:

Netsh wlan show profile name=profilename key=clear

You need to replace the profilename with the actual name of the wifi network Listed in the previous command. If your Network Name contains spaces, you need to use the mentioned below command:

Netsh wlan show profile name=”profilename” key=clear
After running the second command, you will see a list of output, but you are interested in finding the line that states with Key Content. Towards the right, you will see the WiFi password that you want.
